Bramaya is an Austin based West African percussion and dance group led by Master Percussionist, Aboubacar Sylla from Guinea. Bramaya is named in honor of Aboubacar's father’s village and combines new musical ideas with traditional West African rhythms, dance, and instruments such as the djembe, dundun, balafon, bote and krin.
